Magento Developer / PHP Programmer

Responsibilities
- Develop custom extensions for Magento Community and Enterprise editions
- Develop online stores and other eCommerce projects based on Magento in a team environment
- Expand technical knowledgebase, discover new technologies
- Work with other company departments to turn ideas and visions into W3C Standards Compliant HTML templates
- Research, install and configure Magento extensions
- Provide technical support to our customers
- Assist less senior members of the staff with hands-on development work in high-pressure, time sensitive situations
Requirements
- Professional experience building web based applications in PHP
- Ability to work with MVC Frameworks: Zend Framework a plus
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for MySQL 5
- Strong HTML, Javascript and CSS skills
- Basic understanding of Linux and Apache web server
- Familiarity with AJAX (Prototype or jQuery)
- Familiarity with version management (SVN, Git etc)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science a plus
- Must have excellent organizational, detailed record keeping and time management skills
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment

This is an entry-level position and we will provide you with all the training you need!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to analyze business objectives, and develop successful website and online marketing strategies
- Act as client liaison, responsible for day-to-day interaction and managing client expectations
- Collaborate with development teams to accumulate and assemble project estimates
- Draft project requirements, proposals, client agreements and renewals
- Track client activities in order to identify existing and future business opportunities
- Create and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Manage teams to ensure adherence to project scope, budget and schedule. Provide progress reports to management
- Create billing drafts and coordinate with accounting department to facilitate monthly and interim billings
- Assisting in managing and completing reports in a timely manner as requested.
- Providing administrative assistance
- Research account history including revenue information, trends and billing issues
- Answering client phone, fax and email inquiries
Requirements
- High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or equivalent is required
- Excellent communication skills and Apple computer experience
- Excellent telephone skills are necessary
- Must have excellent organizational, detailed record keeping and time management skills
- Must be able to deal effectively with customers in sometimes difficult and stressful situations in a professional manner
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
- Strong customer service skills and initiative are essential
- Strong reading comprehension and proofreading skills
- Good written and oral communications and general office skills are required
- Familiar with web-based e-commerce software, preferably Magento
- 25% Travel within the US
